dA is always a great way to come back to an active and engaged community. Although I sometimes forget about how ALIVE and real the community is. So, a message to all my watchers. Tell me a little about yourself 
I want to start thinking of you all more as people and not just numbers. I don't have too many watchers so I really should put it upon myself to get to know you guys. so....
Tell me something thing about yourself. Also I ask you this question. What keeps you active on dA?
But first, something about me.
I'm known on dA as Soul/SoulSapling/Potato/Sapling/Ne (thanks kuro for the last one).
I started dA last year after my cousin seriously suggested I join her here. I'm currently aspiring in the area of film/video game graphic design and am currently a Visual communication Design student in Australia. I try not to reveal my age on dA but I'm sure a little digging will get you far.
Favourite media is 3D modelling, digital painting and greylead.
A few years back I started 'Moral Studios' a small area where I base my ever growing list of projects

I recently finished watching a documentary titled "Searching for the Sugarman". Being a suggested material from my school I expected it to be mundane and unenlightening, the same impression I have of school itself. However, as the documentary began, played through and concluded something struck me. It felt so utterly real. As I write this I realise how far fetched my impression of school currently is, that a place of education is filled with unintelligence. I was wrong. Someone who loved to reflect chose this material. danbo gone...
A lit bit of a weird entry.
Early today I finished creating the box in which I placed the danbo I made http://soulsapling.deviantart.com/art/Danbo-Born-359785032 which will later be given to my friend as a birthday gift.
As i placed Danbo in that box.... a strange sadness filled me. I GREW TOO ATTACHED TO A CARDBOARD FIGURE!!! nooooooooooo.... and sooo much effort was put into it :')
But that didn't last very long. I put danbo in his box (its a little house looking thing) and it is sitting in the corner of my bedroom in a high shelf ready to be given away.

Message from the future! HNY 2013!
Well, not the Future for everyone but here in Australia (about an hour ago) we had out New years fireworks go off all over the city. The new years is always a time for celebration, promises and reflection. It can be big or it can be small or it can pass like another day in our life. Well, above many, it is time. A measurement of time. The passing of a whole year and the welcoming of another, the welcoming of new time. Spend it wisely.
This year, I'll be spending a lot of time planning, creating and no doubt (inshallah) studying for my VCE (the game we all play to get into the UNI we want). I will try to put more work up and spend time with y
